Courage to be a Bold Apostle, With the Holy Spirit as our Guide

Regnum Christi Philly Women’s section is a spiritual family that unites women in a special way, transforming hearts and enabling women to live more meaningful and purposeful lives. Join us for some of our Regnum Christi activities. Take a chance and just show up.  God is longing to embrace you just as you are. The women of Regnum Christi are wives, widowed, single, mothers and grandmothers, all who share a commitment to grow in their Catholic faith and to encounter Christ in everyone we meet in our daily lives.  We live our charism with the support of Legionary Priests, Consecrated Women, the Catholic Church, Sacraments and a weekly Encounter with Christ and each other.

Encouter With Christ

Faith is a personal belief and trust in a higher power, whereas religion is a set of organized beliefs, practices, and rituals shared by a community.

The major religions of the world are Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism.

The meaning of life according to religion varies, but it often involves finding purpose, serving others, and achieving enlightenment or salvation.

Upcoming Retreats

Christianity originated in the Middle East over 2,000 years ago. It is based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

The main beliefs of Christianity include the belief in one God, the divinity of Jesus Christ, the Holy Trinity, salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and the importance of living a moral and ethical life.

Catholicism and Protestantism are two major branches of Christianity. The main difference between them is that Catholicism emphasizes the authority of the Pope and the sacraments, while Protestantism emphasizes the authority of the Bible and the doctrine of salvation through faith alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@rcphilly.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The meaning of life is a philosophical question that has been debated throughout history. Different religions and belief systems offer different answers, ranging from fulfilling a divine purpose to achieving inner peace and harmony.

Religion typically refers to an organized system of beliefs, practices, and rituals associated with a particular faith or group. Spirituality, on the other hand, is a more individualized and personal experience of connection to a higher power or sense of meaning and purpose.

Prayer is a common practice in many religions and is often used as a way to communicate with a higher power, seek guidance, or express gratitude. It can also be a way to connect with others in a community of faith and to find comfort and support during difficult times.

Encounter with Christ

Each week, we gather as women to pray the gospel for the upcoming Sunday and share real-life virtue experiences to live out our commitments to Christ and the Church.

formation

This year's formation series: “Unveiling the Transformative Power of the Gaze” with speaker Karla Amezcua, consecrated woman of Regnum Christi. You don’t have a mission, you are a mission.

retreats

Regnum Christi Women offer half-day and weekend retreats.  The weekend retreats are silent based upon the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola and help one to encounter Christ and discern HIS Will for your life.  This dedicated time of silence and focused prayer through guided medications of the scriptures allow for you to renew your faith and move forward each year in the path God has set before you.  Personal Spiritual Direction and optional confession help you to begin again.
